David is the co-founder & CTO of Compete, Inc, a Boston-based company. Before Compete he was the CTO of BuyerZone.com, now a part of Reed Elsevier [NYSE: RUK]. In the late 90’s he was a part of Bolt.com & Lycos.com. He is originally from New York City and now lives in Boston, MA area with his wife and daughter.
Things he can’t get enough of: Wilco, Sage Francis, The Decemberists, Jay-Z, Death Cab for Cutie, Ryan Adams, Apple Hardware, Esoteric Hardware (NeXT cubes, DEC Alphas, etc), Sierra Nevada, Schneider Weisse Hefeweizen, NewsHutch.com
