Update: Shareaholic 1.4.1 released, adds support for Pownce, MySpace, Kaboodle, and Y Combinator Hacker News

E-mail this post ยปEarlier this week we released the latest version of Shareaholic - v1.4.1. Shareaholic now supports 21+ sharing and bookmarking services!
While this release was primarily a maintenance/bug fix release, we did add support for four often requested, and extremely popular services — which should make a lot of Shareaholics very happy :)

Other behind the scenes tweaks:
- fixed icon padding issue that some users were having while using Shareaholic with the Class Compact firefox theme
- fixed issue that few users were having where a new tab was being loaded each time Firefox started (conflict with another add-on)
- added support for Songbird 0.6
You can either get the latest version of Shareaholic from here, or you if you already have Shareaholic just wait for Firefox to automatically notify you of the update.

Hi Bill, both are on our list! I have an application in for Yahoo! Buzz, let’s see when they approve it (although not sure yet if it can be used with Shareaholic because of the way Y! structured things).

The new Shareaholic is great. It saves me time bookmarking to digg, del.icio.us, facebook, google bookmarks etc. Can you tell us what is next for the add-on?

Hi, what about adding support to Ping.fm, so to automatically share with a bunch of services? They have a bookmarklet that should easily be implemented in a next version of Shareaholic: see http://ping.fm/ref/help/

When is version 1.5 coming out? I don’t particularly like having the “Sharaholic”, and especially the “Community Links”, in my right-click context menu, and I heard 1.5 will let me disable those.
