Jay MeattleShareaholic v1.8 (for Firefox) is here; adds support for over 20 additional services!

We just pushed out Shareaholic v1.8! You can get the latest version of Shareaholic from here, or you if you already have Shareaholic installed, just wait for Firefox to automatically notify you of the update.

If you use the NoScript for Firefox Add-on, please make sure you read this and update your white list.

What’s new in v1.8:

  • Additional supported destination services:
    • AttentionMeter AttentionMeter – if you’re into website stats, you’ll like this
    • blogger Blogger / Blogspot
    • BzzAgent Bzzscapes BzzAgent Bzzscapes – share stuff about your favorite brands
    • digg DiggBar – URL shortener
    • diigo Diigolet – another way to share to Diigo
    • identi.ca Identi.ca
    • instapaper Instapaper – save web pages for reading later
    • is.gd Is.gd – URL shortener
    • livejournal LiveJournal – most requested service for this release!
    • mailto: Your Desktop Mail Client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc)
    • netvibes Netvibes
    • ping.fm Ping.fm
    • smaknews Smaknews – news site for women
    • smush it Smush.it – useful service for webmasters
    • tinyurl TinyURL – URL shortener that started it all :)
    • tipd Tipd – financial news site
    • tr.im Tr.im – URL shortener with a fantastic domain name
    • tweetie Tweetie (Mac) – the #1 mac Twitter client? a big shout out to our friends at atebits!
    • visualize Vi.sualize.us
    • wordpress Wordpress.com / Wordpress.org – our blogging platform of choice
  • Users can now specify their Bit.ly account settings for custom click tracking under advanced options
  • Updates to Twitthat, LinkedIn, Buzzster code
  • Misc. performance tweaks and updates

    there shows only old version Shareaholic for Firefox 1.7 where do you have a mirror with the latest version 1.8. Also Im interested in beta testing 1.9

    hello,

    For some reason I couldn’t send my suggestion by using my Gmail-account, because “The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect.” I tried sending an email (June 11) to the email address of Shareholic having “support” in it. “Message will be retried for 1 more day(s).”, says Google’s mailer-daemon.

    I intended to suggest adding Faviki-service ( http://www.faviki.com ).
