Thanks for the reply, Jay. The (wonderful) Shareaholic extension offers so much more, so adding the tweet counts to it makes a lot of sense to me. Regards, John

Is it purely the realtime count of tweets for the page being viewed? If so, why not just add that functionality to the Shareaholic extension?

Hi John,

That's right -- it has the added functionality of the realtime count of tweets for the page being viewed. It's also one less click if you use Twitter a lot.

We will likely add this to the main Shareaholic extension in the near future.

Sorry if I'm being slow, but what is the advantage of this new TweetButton extension over the Shareaholic button extension? Is it purely the realtime count of tweets for the page being viewed? If so, why not just add that functionality to the Shareaholic extension?
